Learn To Make Traditional Limoncello
Join Chef Salvatore, along with Signore Lucia and Anna and learn how to make Limoncello and lemon bignè, sweet, light, delicious bites filled with limoncello cream that are perfectly paired with limoncello. Salvatore uses only naturally raised lemons from her garden that blossom and bloom four times per year for both the limoncello making and the lemon bignè.
We start off the class with an informal discussion on the history behind the lemons and how they made their way to the area. Then it is hands-on, where you will peel, mix and make the famous lemon liqueur. As the lemons bathe in the secret recipe, you will start your lemon bignè dessert making. Salvatore shares his precious family recipes for the most delicious lemon dessert making on Capri. Following the hands-on cooking class, everyone joins in at the table for a tasting of the limoncello and lemon bignè that were made in the kitchen. A Lemon Lifestyle Recipe book, including lots of lemon inspired recipes is included.
$155 per person, price based on a minimum of 2 people. All taxes and Italian VAT included.
Cooking Classes start in the morning at 10:30am or in the afternoon at 4:30pm. Other times available upon request.
