Join Chef Francesca as she welcomes guests into her family’s country home for a authentic hands-on family cooking experience on Lake Maggiore just outside Stresa. Chef Francesca uses only seasonal regional products to create classic and traditional cuisine from the Lombardia region of Piedmont.
Learn to prepare focaccia with olives and tomatoes, grissini, spicy thin breadsticks with poppy seeds or rosemary, thyme and tomatoes, gnocco fritto, plump rounds of pasta, risotto al Barolo, risotto made with Barolo wine, sepia e tagliolini, cuttlefish with black pasta, branzino con capperi e pomodorini, seabass and capers, pollo alla cacciatora, farmer’s style chicken, and delicious specialty desserts such as torcetti and le margheritine di Stresa.
Cooking classes start at 9:00am and include the preparation of an appetizer, a main course and a dessert and last approximately four hours. Lunch follows and includes the foods that were prepared in the cooking class with a toast of local wine included. Cooking class menus vary, based on the seasons, and vegetarian, gluten-free and special requests are always respected.

Morning cooking classes start at 9am & afternoon cooking classes start at 4:00pm.
*Friends or family members in your group, who are not cooking, and want to join for lunch or dinner following the class, need to reserve in advance. Call to inquire about menus and pricing.
*Please note: One-day cooking classes do not include transportation, accommodations, or any other excursions. If you would like to add on transfers to and from your hotel or cruise ship port ~ please let us know your group size and we will be happy to reserve transfers for you. Transfers are an extra cost.
