Join Chef Gina in her home kitchen as she welcomes you to an authentic hands-on family cooking experience on Lake Maggiore in Stresa. She uses farm-to-table seasonal ingredients to create delicious antipasti, fresh pasta and risotto, main courses and desserts, from her family recipe book in Lombardia. This is a unique cooking experience with Chef Gina in her home kitchen.
Learn to prepare focaccia with olives and tomatoes, grissini, spicy thin breadsticks with poppy seeds or rosemary, thyme and tomatoes, gnocco fritto, plump rounds of pasta, risotto al Barolo, risotto made with Barolo wine, sepia e tagliolini, cuttlefish with black pasta, branzino con capperi e pomodorini, seabass and capers, pollo alla cacciatora, farmer’s style chicken, and delicious specialty desserts such as torcetti and le margheritine di Stresa.
Cooking classes start at 9:00am and include the preparation of an antipasto, main course and dessert; the classes last approximately four hours. Lunch follows and includes the foods that were prepared in the cooking class with a toast of local wine included. Cooking class menus vary, based on the season with vegetarian and gluten-free options available upon request. Our recipe booklet and chef’s apron are included.

*Friends or family members in your group, who are not cooking, and want to join for lunch or dinner following the class, need to reserve in advance. Call to inquire about menus and pricing.
*Please note: One-day cooking classes do not include transportation, accommodations, or any other excursions. If you would like to add on transfers to and from your hotel or cruise ship port ~ please let us know your group size and we will be happy to reserve transfers for you. Transfers are an extra cost.
