Begin your journey with a guided tour of the estate’s beautifully restored estate, including an 18th-century chapel, a Neo-Gothic well, and the vaulted wine cellar, each steeped in centuries of history. Decades of artisan wine making blend with history – as the property’s cantina was used as a refuge for locals which saved their lives during WWII adding a poignant layer to the estate’s story. Walk in the wine cellar and observe impressive wooden barrels holding the year’s harvest – aging Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah grape juice soon to be bottled into Super Tuscans, Riserva Chianti, and Rosanto wine. The vineyard and farm thrive as organic preserving biodiversity and embodying the timeless traditions of Tuscan agriculture. Guests are introduced to the estate’s award-winning Chianti wines, Vinter Farmer’s lunch including renowned Vin Santo and award-winning olive oil, produced with deep respect for the land and environment.
The Wine Tour, Tasting and Farmer’s Lunch experience includes a guided tour with an English- speaking guided through the estate and cellar, then tasting room with a leisurely wine tasting of four wines and lunch to follow. As you sip and swirl, you will enjoy Tuscan bruschetta, farm fresh vegetables and eggs, salumi, Prosciutto, Tuscan ham, artisan cheese along with Tuscan Pecorino cheese enhanced by the estate’s organic olive oil all set against the breathtaking backdrop of vineyards and olive groves.
