Mercatino ~ Italian Olive Oils

    Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The varieties of olives used in all our oils are Leccino, Curatora, Frantoio & Coratina. These four varieties give an excellent quality of extra-virgin olive oil that has a very low, 0.25%, acidity. The oil has a green hue and fruity taste with hints of fresh cut grass, green apple and almond. The sensation of bitterness and pungency is mild and balanced.
Lemon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Amalfi Coast lemons, or sfusato, are gently pressed cold for this special recipe of our unique lemon olive oil. The olive oil has a delicate taste of lemon and goes great on summer salads, lemon pasta and risotto, grilled fish, meats and cheese.
Red Chili Pepper Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Red chili peppers are infused with the olive oil for this classic olio al peperoncino. Our blend has a spicy hot peppery taste and goes great on pasta, pizza, meat and fish.
