Marie Lucia
Born and raised with Italian tradition and cooking skills like no other, Marie Lucia learned our authentic recipes from her mother and aunts who were from from Prata Sannita, Italy – a small village in Campania, and noted for their baking skills. Marie Lucia has years of experience in cooking for her family, guests while in Italy and baking for weddings and special events all around the world.
Lauren & Rino
Lauren, creator and owner of Cooking Vacations – www.Cooking-Vacations.com, is a writer, cook, food lover and photographer – who shares her family recipes and traditions in each cooking class and tour. Using recipes that were passed down in her family from Rome and Campania, she leads cooking classes throughout all of Italy’s 20 regions.
Gennaro, nick-named Rino, is a true Italian who was born in Pompei. He learned the art of cooking from his grandmothers and mom, while studying wine in Italy at his grandfather’s vineyard and cantina in San Felice a Cancello. Rino adds his cooking skills and wine pairing know-how in every cooking class.

All recipes are designed to be recreated in your home kitchen. Classes are approximately three hours with questions and discussions along the way.
On Line Cooking Classes And How They Work!
On-Line Cooking Classes
All cooking classes take place on Zoom or Skype. When you email, I will send you a Reservation Form, and you can fill it out with name, selected cooking class and any food allergies. Payment can be made via Paypal or check. Once confirmed, you will be sent a link via e-mail with the link that will take you to the class for the day and time. Recipe booklet included. A list of ingredients will be sent prior to the cooking class. One cooker per computer or lap top only.
On the day of the cooking class, we will meet on Zoom or Skype, cook together, learn, enjoy and at the end of the experience, you will have a delicious lunch or dinner to share with family and friends.
Private On-Line Cooking Classes
Private on line cooking classes work as follows: you send me an e-mail at lauren@cooking-vacations.com, and I will send you a menu with different options according to season and duration 2 ½ to 3 hours). Once you chose your menu, I will send you the list of ingredients and any special cooking utensils that you may need.
As soon as you confirm, I will send you a Reservation Form and then once processed – Payment will be made in advance via Paypal or check,- you will be sent a link via e-mail with the link that will take you to the class. One cooker per computer or lap top, please.
We then set a cooking class time according to your time-zone and availability.
