Honoring this special year, Cooking Vacations celebrates with Jubilee Rome 2025 Cooking and Culture Tour, including a week of hands-on cooking in a private palazzo and rooftop overlooking the Eternal City. A Jubilee Welcome Dinner featuring a Chef’s Tasting Menu including a Roman antipasto, fresh pasta and sauce, main course and dessert with wine, and a guided tour to the Seven Pilgrim Churches with our English-speaking guide along with music, food, wine and cultural events.

As part of the Jubilee 2025 Rome Cooking and Culture Tour, our guests will experience the flavors of Rome while preparing recipes in our chef’s private kitchen followed by dining on her rooftop terrace overlooking Rome. Learn how to prepare pasta alla gricia with its perfect blend of Pecorino and guanciale, Pasta alla Papalina, pasta served with peas and Prosciutto, created for Pope Pacelli in 1930 and still served at the Vatican, and carciofi alla giudia—flash-fried artichokes, a Roman-Jewish tradition. Our Jubilee-inspired menus are paired with wine and great conversation around our Roman table, while enjoying desserts made in the cooking class—torzetti, wine biscotti served with a creamy espresso or amaro, a traditional after-dinner drink. It’s a traditional culinary journey echoing the Jubilee’s spirit of abundance, sharing, and unity.
