Vineyard & Cantina Amalfi Coast
Join Italy’s award-winning wine maker for an up close vineyard tour, cantina visit and hands-on cooking class followed by a wine pairing lunch. On this Amalfi Coast wine tour, you will learn about the famous family of winemakers, the grape varieties and history that dates back to Tiberio, the Roman Emperor who came to this land to make his wine!
Our tour starts out through the vineyard perched on a hill and overlooking the sea. You will discover the wine makers’ special way of growing and harvesting grapes on vertical slopes, while walking along the rocky volcanic soil. Sea and mountains blend in this magical landscape filled with vineyards and farmers. Our wine maker calls it, “An authentic vintners’ wine making class.”
These Amalfi Coast wines have been labeled ‘Extreme Wines’ in recognition of the superhuman effort required to tend and harvest grapes in such conditions: extremely hot summers and extremely cold winters. The wine makers here grow ancient grape varieties such as Fenile, Piedirosso, Ginestra, Pepella, Ripolo, Tintore, Tronto and Sciascinoso. Thanks to their passion and tenacity, these ancient grape varieties are pressed then aged into exceptional award-winning wines. When these wines are paired with the the Amalfi Coast’s fresh fish, organic vegetables, grass-fed meats and artisan cheeses, it’s a combination only nature has to offer.
Amalfi Coast Cooking Class
Following your vineyard tour, tie on your apron and begin your hands-on cooking class. You will be preparing a full course menu including: antipasto, fresh pasta and sauce, a main course and dessert. Lunch follows and everyone enjoys the foods that were prepared in the kitchen together. A wine pairing lunch follows. Local seasonal antipasto, fresh pasta and sauce, main course and dessert are paired with wines from the property. Special menus, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan are available upon request.
$295 per person, based on 2 guests in the cooking class and wine tour.

Program includes vineyard and cantina visit followed by a hands-on cooking class preparing a full course menu featuring local cuisine. Lunch follows and includes the food that was prepared in the cooking class and is paired with wine from the vineyard. This tour starts at 10am. The vineyard visit is approximately 1 hour followed by the cooking class and wine pairing lunch.
