Join Italy’s award-winning wine maker for an up close vineyard tour, cantina visit and, wine pairing lunch to follow. On this Amalfi Coast wine tour, you will learn about the famous family of winemakers, the grape varieties and history that dates back to Tiberio, the Roman Emperor who came to this land to make his wine!
Our tour starts out through the vineyard perched on a hill and overlooking the sea. You will discover the wine makers’ special way of growing and harvesting grapes on vertical slopes, while walking along the rocky volcanic soil. Sea and mountains blend in this magical landscape filled with vineyards and farmers.
These Amalfi Coast wines have been labeled extreme wines in recognition of the superhuman effort required to tend and harvest grapes in such conditions: extremely hot summers and extremely cold winters. The winemakers here grows ancient grape varieties such as Fenile, Piedirosso, Ginestra, Pepella, Ripolo, Tintore, Tronto and Sciascinoso. Thanks to their passion and tenacity, these ancient grape varieties are pressed then aged into exceptional award-winning wines. When these wines are paired with the the Amalfi Coast’s fresh fish, organic vegetables, grass-fed meats and artisan cheeses, it’s a combination only nature has to offer.
After enjoying the vineyard and cantina tour, a wine pairing lunch follows. Our executive Chef prepares a 5 course tasting menu with red wine or white wine pairings including, local seasonal antipasto, fresh pasta and sauce, main course and dessert are paired with wines from the property. Special menus, including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan are available upon request.

Antipasto, focaccia, raw prawns, burrata from Campania and Mediterranean sauce, then pasta –
tortelli stuffed with tuna Genovese, yellow tomatoes and provolone del Monaco cheese, cavatelli pasta with garlic, oil and chilli caper sauce, catch of the day in a seafood soup, and homemade babà with seasonal fruit salad and English cream.
Another example, antipasto eggplant Parmigiana with mozzarella cheese and San Marzano tomato, ziti pasta and provolone del Monaco cheese, artisan cheese paired with homemade jams and honey, and sfogliatella – pastry filled with buffalo ricotta from Campania made with pear
This exclusive tour with a full course Chef’s Tasting lunch is the perfect way to learn more abut the Amalfi Coast and its local food and wine, while you sip, swirl and dine. Wine tour, cantina visit and wine pairing lunch are included along with great conversation.
$185 per person, based on two guests, tour and wine pairing lunch.
Program includes vineyard visit and wine pairing lunch. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan lunch available upon request, supplement is $35 per person for special menus. Program starts at 12pm.
