Join us and discover the Boboli and Bardini Gardens walking tour.  The gardens are tucked away behind the Pitti Palace and include a beautiful Florentine garden with century-old trees and plants and flowers, as well as sculptures and fountains. The gardens, a true example of late Renaissance art, were laid out for Eleonora di Toledo, the wife of Cosimo I dé Medici, one year after the Medici Family purchased the palace. These romantic gardens with their perfect shapes and symmetry are a great example of Renaissance landscaping, and in fact, the prototype for the Boboli Gardens served as inspiration for many other European gardens, in particular, Versailles.  Discover the artichoke fountain and also the amphitheater.  If you love Renaissance art and gardens, join our dreamy tour for a colorful discovery of gardens, fountains and the art of the Medici family.  This is a 3-hour walking tour with private English-speaking guide.
